Local's Light is classic American Lager crafted by Joe Short in 2004 to be “beer in its simplest form”. It’s a bright yellow beer with effervescent aromatics of fresh malted barley and lager yeast. Local’s Light has soft and subtle flavors of malt that finish crisp and clean that’s perfectly balanced for smooth and easy drink-ability.

A dose of fresh ginger roots added to the brew-kettle creates an intriguing mix of ginger, malt-sweetness, and citrus-like aromas and flavors. Hoppy dryness is very subdued with ginger-sweet-spicy notes dominating throughout to the very finish.

A refreshing, mildly hopped Belgian and American-inspired beer with complex, tart flavors of coriander, orange peel and nutmeg; a combination Wit and Wild Ale. This brew has won gold medals at several beer competitions in the U.K. and U.S.

A light-bodied, refreshing golden coloured lager, brewed with floral citrus aroma hops such as Cascade and Amarillo and fresh Yuzu juice. A great summer beer.

Brewed with rice and designed to mimic the subtle and drinkable flavors of sake, this low alcohol saison is the softer side of Stillwater with an incredibly dry finish to highlight the complex flavors.

Clean. Crisp. & Easy Drinking. Pilsner, Vienna, & Munich malt were used in the brewing process. Munich malt adds a touch of sweetness and complexity while complimenting the cascade hops.

Short's Brewing Company's flagship Brown Ale. Full-flavored with notes of sweet caramel, chocolate, and toasted malt, Bellaire Brown is balanced with a mild and earthy hop quality. This ale is dark and rich with a medium body. It’s hardly classifiable as a brown but is certainly considered a delicious masterpiece.

India Pale ale catches the eye with its copper to orange color. The hoppy nose, rounded out with notes of citrus and pine, make this an unmistakable IPA. Medium bodied, Shifting Sands is not overwhelmingly bitter, but it contains a lasting bitterness characteristic of its style.


Wisconsin - Hard Seltzer.  This style generally offers a clear effervescent final product fermented from cane sugar with natural flavors added.  

Legendary Passionfruit Gose, 'Passion Pool' is enveloped in juicy tropical fruit, mild salinity, and a befuddling drinkability.  Restrained acidity and zippy carbonation makes this a favorite hot weather treat.


Made with Michigan apples and pears fermented together with fresh grated ginger root.  Tart with a little zing to it.  Naturally gluten free!




Easy drinking blonde ale made with Higher Grounds coffee from Traverse City, Michigan.  The coffee flavor is accompanied by a sweet finish and hints of honey & toasted malt.



We can't get beer out of our mind, We think about the beer all the time, East side to the West Side, No Diggnity!  We got to haze it up, haze it up.  Our first juicy IPA.  We may have no dignity, but we do have a juicy, aromatic, haze craze phenomenon on tap.  Enjoy one and celebrate as we bring the haze to the west (Michigan) side!
